our project in july was this ornament wall hanging.... i used supplies designed by miss elsie... looking forward to december so i can hang it!!

Part of my hometown's 125 year/all school reunion/4th of july celebration was a performance in the ball park by none other than the king himself.....Elvis!!! as you can see, nertz was in the front row!!!

nertz's tree is a megan rose...it's tiny, but is covered in tiny roses every may... beautiful!!!

confirmation weekend/palm sunday....gramma, grampa, and my nieces came to help celebrate....the weather took a turn for the worse, so everyone else ended up having to stay home :o(

woop woop!!

so i spent the weekend in my studio again!! this time organizing all of my crapola!!

i hung this shelf with the cup hooks....a perfect spot for my love elsie die cut albums!!i put up this shelving for my fabrics, ribbons, and other misc items...check out this retro-cool storage container!!

as cute as these little boxes are...they just aren't my style...so i'm going to make them me...a little at a time...starting with the big one......
now this awesome storage spot for a bunch of my stickers!!!
i rescued this old silverware box from the thrift shop...it's in pretty tough shape, but.....

not for long........
with a little elbow grease...and some fresh paint....

it will make an awesome place to store a few of my "treasures"!!!! :0)
this old rusty file box has a charm all it's own...and i love it as it is, but added a little bit of whimsy and i was able to store about 30 spools of ribbon inside!!!
thanks to the ever inspiring elsie flannigan, i outlined this sweet little tweety bird and added a label...

i even squeezed in a little scrap time....well, sort of...i embroidered on this pic...a little embellishing trick i learned from a class elsie & rachel are doing on line this month... i love it!!

my 5th pic in my 5th folder brought tears to my eyes.... this sweet pea and her sister came to visit me on their way out of town...for good. this was the day my bestie and her fam left for missoula!!! love you guys!!! xoxoxoxoxo

I had the weekend all to myself to do whatever i wanted...so i spent pretty much the entire time in my art studio...being creative!!

I decoupaged this frame using sunday funnies....i love it!!!

here's the whole wall....it still needs a little work, but that's the fun part about this space....it's a continual work in progress.

i also worked on the display for the hot pink flamingo's cozies in our local bagel/coffee shop. but i'll let carla show that to you...
