We took a detour through the badlands on our way home from Jay's wedding. The kids had a blast on the trails!! saw some mountain goats up on one of the bluffs...pretty fun!! :0)
so i loveLOVE the badlands! and we only lived 30 miles away growing up and i even worked about 2 minutes away from them for many summers.... and have probably only gone a handful of times. i wanna go back!!!!! ;o)
it is fun!! the weather was chilly, so we didn't worry as much about the rattlesnakes...but it must be a problem, there were warning signs everywhere!!

i hear ya sista'. the next time we're home it's on my list of to do's. my girls have never been!! you guys sure make it look FUN!
